‘not your average irish band’
Timlin’s Green are a 6 PIECE Adelaide outfit formed in 2024, bringing together the spirit of Irish tradition with the energy and attitude of modern live rock.
The band takes its name from Edward Timlin, grandfather of vocalist Harry, whose ancestors came from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland and ran a pub in Omagh.
ThE family connection to Irish music and community lives on in the band today. Taking pride of place at the front of the stage is a lightbox replica of the Guinness beer label that adorned the bottles Edward sold in his pub some 80 years ago — a tangible link between the family’s past and Timlin’s Green’s present.
It’s more than a name. It’s a story carried forward through music.

FORGET ABOUT THE IRISH BAND IN THE CORNER, ThIS IS an entertaining show of high energy, audience interaction and violin, drum & guitar driven Irish rock accompanied by backstories and anECDOTES of the songs and the characters within, our first original composition ‘hunters revenge’ sits proudly in the set.
